The disable / enable worked for me, on a Lenovo W510.The persoalan is that the touchscreen will stop frequently, so even if I disable / enable, something else happens and it stops working…

What to try if your touchscreen doesn’t work

Find the Touch screen driver under Mice and Other Pointing Devices > USB Touchscreen Controller.

Uninstall the driver and check the Delete the driver software for this device box. Restart the computer.

If the feature is still not back, open Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices. Right-click HID compliant touch screen, then uninstall. When you restart the PC, it will reinstall.

If you cannot locate a USB Touchscreen Controller(A111), look for a USB Root Hub (xHCI) option under USB Controllers or Universal Serial Bus. If labeled as disabled (a faded or lighter shade of gray), then right-click the option and select enable. Check to see if that brings the touch screen back.

If the previous steps do not work, contact Lenovo service center for further assistance and diagnosis.

Hi I did what you said to do an uninstalled the touch screen but when I restarted the PC, it didn’t reinstall. What do I do now?

I had that persoalan to. My solution was a SFC scan. I don’t know how long this works, since I have Harga Laptop Lenovo Medan done it recently but there are more Toko Laptop Lenovo Medan possible fixes for that. (Refer to link below)

To run a SFC scan do as follows: 1. Open CMD (just typing in Windows search bar) and run it as admin. 2. Type: “SFC/scannow” tiga. Restart your PCWhat this does is, it removes and repairs broken registry-keys and creates a log of what it has done (maybe useful for Jual Laptop Lenovo tech support) in “C:\Windows\Logs\CBS”.

If this doesn’t work, maybe take a look at:https://e-methodstechnologies.com/fix-lenovo-touch-screen-not-working/

Let me know if you had success.

The SFC scan worked for me, thanks Flavian

It worked for me too! Thank you so much!

I had a similar duduk perkara with an old Lenovo Miix 300-10IBY. The touchscreen worked in recovery and BIOS/UEFI but not in Windows. Also, the touchscreen, battery, sound and some HIDs were missing from Device Manager. The gyro’s weren’t working either along with a few other bits and pieces.

In my case, it was the Intel® Processor I/O Controller Driver for Windows 8.1* for Intel® NUC which can be found at the link below. I know it’s for Windows 8.1 rather than 10 but after a reboot, everything came back for me.

I had a slight issue with the touchscreen 90° offset which needed to be fixed in the registry but this brought everything back. The file can be found here – Intel-Processor-I-O-Controller-Driver-for-Windows-8-1-for-Intel-NUC

This is the only thing that worked for me. Thanks!

Carl, you sir are a hero! I tried everything… Windows reinstall (twice), installed MANY drivers… and this fixed everything! Legend!

(Im still using a Miix-300, lol!)

You are a HERO works great. Finaly.

Does it work for Win 10 as well? Because I couldn’t find a this exact driver for the win 10 version.

Thank you, Carl!!I was about to give up trying to fix it 🙂

Whenever we have a dilema, there are two possibilities of problems – hardware & software.

Open device manager & navigate to the driver related to touch screen. Then first try troubleshooting the driver. Then update driver and try using your touch screen once. This should be able to fix it, if doesn’t then please try to roll back the driver. Next is to run sfc /scannow command. Simply type ‘sfc /scannow’ in search and execute this command as Admin.

HARDWARE PROBLEM We can do nothing by ourselves for a hardware masalah. Please take the laptop to Lenovo service center for possible repairs.

I fixed it!! This all helped though. i went to device manager and i saw a Wacom human interface device with a ?. I tried to update the driver automatically, no worky. I did the manual update and the touchscreen started working!!! Hope this helps.Wacom driver
